Working Bees (16th & 23rd)

A working bee will be organised for the 23rd of April (Saturday, 10am-2pm). Everyone is strongly encouraged to come and contribute toward the upkeeping and the beautifying of the House of the Lord. We hope to do three things :
  1. Place potted plants in the church courtyard (the area bordered by the church hall, toilets, shed and the Methodist room). We have already purchased 10 large 80-litre glazed pots and 25 bags of 30-litre potting mix which will be delivered on the 23rd April. We have yet to purchase the plants. Coordinator : Doris Lim
  2. The green cloth on the play area between the toilet and the shed will be removed. Coordinator : Fred Lake
  3. The painting of all church doors (six). However, due to the need for preliminary works on the doors (eg. sanding, filling, priming), there will be a preliminary working bee on the 16th of April (coming Saturday). We don't need many people for that. 3 or 4 would be fine. If anyone can come for that working bee as well, please let me know. I will be there from 10am. Coordinator : Sam Lim
We need as many people as possible. Come for one hour or four hours. It doesn't matter. But we are all doing it for the Lord and for His glory. See you on the 23rd and possibly the 16th as well.

Many thanks to those who came for the Preliminary Working Bee today.....Fred, Marc, Adeline & Annette. The doors have been sanded, primed and the undercoat painted, ready for the final coat next week. Also, the new basketball hoop has been replaced.
