Everyone suffers when disasters strike. When a disaster becomes catastrophic, no one could be spared - even the rich and the most powerful. Everything is destroyed and lost! The bible warns us that nations will rise against nations and there will be earthquakes in various places and famines (Mark 13:8) in increasing frequencies. Man will soon witness the days of distress unequaled from the beginning when GOD created the world until now and never to be equaled again (Mark 13:19). What will we do on the day the day of reckoning when disaster comes? To whom will we run for help? Where will we leave our riches? (Isaiah 10:3).
