To LOVE is to forgive. Because GOD is love (1 John 4:8), HE is always ready to forgive us. It is truly impossible to enter GOD'S kingdom if we don't repent and receive HIS forgiveness. That is why we are all commanded to forgive (Mark 11:25) just as we are forgiven many times for our sins. We are even encouraged to be reconciled with our brothers or sisters before we offer our gifts to GOD (Matthew 5:24). When Peter asked JESUS how many times should he forgive, JESUS replied not just seven times but seventy-seven times (Matthew 18:21-22).
