We all have that deep thirst in our hearts only GOD can fill and satisfy. Regardless what we have achieved and accomplished in life, we still end up dry and barren - often thirsty for spiritual comfort and assurance. Yet GOD is never far away. HE is always there ready to quench our thirst and we are all encouraged to draw near to HIM so that HE will draw near to us (James 4:8). JESUS too was not spared from being "thirsty" after accomplishing and finishing HIS earthly mission (John 19:28-30). Yet, immediately in a loud voice, HE said "FATHER, into your hands I commit MY SPIRIT." (Luke 23:46). Thursday, October 14, 2010
