Perhaps we are all guilty of betraying our friends including our loved ones. Yet JESUS demonstrated HIS great love by laying down HIS life for our sake (John 15:13). When JESUS told HIS disciples that one of them was going to betray HIM, they were all saddened and each of them asked: "Is it I?" (Mark 14:19). Even Peter, asked: “LORD, why can’t I follow YOU now? I will lay down my life for YOU.” Then JESUS answered, “Will you really lay down your life for ME? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown ME three times! (John 13:37-38)
