The harvest doesn't only signify bringing people to CHRIST or to those who are already spiritually mature. The harvest is also for those who are spiritually ready - for they too are ripe for harvest! Remember what JESUS said: "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of GOD ahead of you." (Matthew 21:31). HE was referring to their spiritual readiness. We faithful Christians are not only to sow GOD'S WORD but most importantly each of us should play a major part in the harvest as well! It is true that one man sows and another man reaps (John 4:37) and when see the tree has ripe fruits, we are to bring harvesters to harvest the fruits. "The man who reaps the harvest is being paid and gathers the crops for eternal life; so the man who sows and the man who reaps will be glad together (John 4:36).
