We all know that most companies, company owners and business men will spend whatever it cost for a sound advice. The same method can also be applied to our personal lives but sadly, whenever we are faced with life's challenges, problems or difficulties, we tend to seek advice from different other people until we find someone who will tell us the things we really want to hear. Asking advice from as many people can be unwise and futile. It is better to have few trusted, godly and wise counselors to advice us even when they tell us the things we don't want to hear. King Rehoboam (Son of Solomon) rejected the advice the elders gave him and instead consulted the young men who had grown up and were serving him (1 Kings 12:8-15). The consequences were costly for the whole nation of Israel to this very day (1 Kings 12:19)!
