Happiness is always a choice but our joy as Christians comes from GOD and it does not depend on the circumstances or conditions that we face. We find true joy because we live to the truth knowing that our sins have already been forgiven and we look forward to the place CHRIST has prepared for us. We find joy because we have a GOD that truly loves us and we share that joy to others the same way we share the Gospel. The Apostle Paul told the Philippians that he had been praying for them with joy in his heart despite the difficulties and sufferings he faced. In fact, he and Silas even sang joyful songs when they were imprisoned (Acts 16:25). Things may look bad in your life these days but choose to allow GOD'S joy to fill your heart. True joy comes with the assurance that GOD is always in control whatever the circumstances you could be facing.
