Hope In Hopelessness

Christian life can never be easy. Often times we end up in having to terribly suffer in this world but when we fix our eyes on JESUS who is the perfector of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2), we know there is always hope. Sadly, many of us lose hope. Whenever we are in a seemingly hopeless situation, we easily give up and surrender that we no longer see the glimmer of light at the end of the deep and dark tunnel. Life surely loses its meaning when we lose hope (Lamentations 3:18). We Christians must learn to be confident regarding things that are uncertain - hoping for the things that we have not yet received while waiting for them and patiently (Romans 8:24-25). And when we put our hopes in GOD, we are certain of things to come because HE holds our future. We also know that trouble produces endurance, which brings GOD’S approval, and HIS approval creates hope (Romans 5:3). Remember what the LORD promised to Jeremiah: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11).
