The bible tells us that the tongue is the most difficult part of the body to tame (James 3:6-8). The same goes with our hearts. Because sin begins deep within our hearts, out from our hearts come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, immorality and ALL evil things that make man unclean (Matthew 15:19-20). We are therefore warned to guard our hearts diligently for it affects everything we do (Proverbs 4:23). Let us all be aware and careful the things that fill our hearts. If you find yourself struggling, pray to the HOLY SPIRIT to help you and remember the words of the Psalmist:"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer (Psalm 19:14).
