We are all guilty of exaggerating the things we say to make our stories believable. But we must be aware that exaggeration is indeed a form of lying and deciet. A Christian need not exaggerate when we he is already telling the truth as the truth will set him free (John 8:32). JESUS is also encouraging us to let our YES be YES and our NO be NO (Matthew 5:37). Let us instead speak the truth in love so that we in all things grow up into HIM who is the head that is CHRIST (Ephesians 4:15).
