Religious persecution is now everywhere and we are boldly warned that the time will come that every form of worship will be opposed (2 Thessalonians 2:4). Though one can be persecuted for his religious belief in a subtle manner other individuals are now facing even greater and painful consequences for their faith. Daniel kept on praying openly to GOD up to three times a day despite the strict law Darius had passed (Daniel 6:10). Like Daniel, we too must endure and remain steadfast by holding unswervingly to the hope we profess (Hebrews 10:23) and not throw our confidence for it will be richly rewarded (Hebrews 10:35-36).
